UA Local 469 has been providing vital infrastructure of plumbing, pipefitting and HVAC service work to the local community for over 100 years. When it came time to modernize and expand their facility, UA Local wanted to honor their own by providing a welcoming place for members to congregate and be celebrated. The industrial feel of exposed ducts along with steel, aluminum and copper fixtures highlight their craft that is normally hidden. The ‘Wall of Heroes” is the centerpiece of the new two-story atrium, commemorating past members, while the dramatic wrap-around bar on the second floor becomes a gathering spot for current members.
