Healthcare Planner/Architect (10+ Years Experience)

We're looking for an architectural health planner who thrives on the unique challenges of healthcare design. In this role, you’ll lead planning efforts, shaping spaces that enhance patient well-being and staff efficiency.
Are you a seasoned healthcare planner/architect with a passion for designing spaces that enhance patient care and support healthcare staff? triARC is seeking an experienced professional with at least 10 years in healthcare architecture and planning. In this role, you’ll shape healthcare environments from initial concept through final implementation, ensuring spaces that are both functional and healing.
Position Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture preferred
- 10+ years of experience in healthcare planning and architecture with a strong portfolio of completed projects
- In-depth knowledge of healthcare design codes, standards, and best practices
- Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and other design software
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with clients, consultants, and team members
- Demonstrated project management experience, including budgeting, scheduling, and regulatory compliance
- AIA, ACHA, or similar certification preferred
Core Responsibilities:

Project Design: Lead healthcare facility design, aligning with patient care and efficiency goals; collaborate with stakeholders; develop plans from concept to documentation; ensure code compliance; and integrate user feedback into solutions.

Project Execution: Produce and review construction documentation, ensuring compliance with healthcare-specific regulations and industry standards; ensure adherence to project timelines, budgets, and quality standards; proactively address project challenges, providing innovative solutions.

Client & Team Management: Engage effectively with clients to build trust and maintain strong relationships; mentor junior team members in healthcare design best practices; coordinate with consultants and project teams to ensure seamless project delivery.
