little details

triARC supports organizations that provide high quality products while at the same time give back to the community, particularly when the product are delicious sandwiches, like the aptly named ‘Da Gouda’. If you are unfamiliar with Even Stevens Sandwiches, let us share their motto: Eat to Give. For every sandwich purchased, they donate one to a local non-profit by operating on good budgeting and strong relationships.

triARC also believes in good budgeting and strong relationships. We summoned both to take a dark and outdated retail space in Old Town Scottsdale and designed a bright and colorful sandwich shop. Eye-catching columns constructed of decorative concrete blocks pay homage to Scottsdale’s mid-century neighborhoods. Pops of orange and the turquoise blue front door complement the building’s pale sage exterior.

The mid-century motif continues as one enters the restaurant, with graphic wallpapers, a sputnik pendant chandelier and clean lines of the furniture. Structural modifications as well as updated electrical and plumbing were needed to create an inviting space for customers as well as a functional workspace for employees.
